About
I am a freelance photographer in Seattle, WA. I got my start in photography back when I was a student at the University of Hawaii. While there, I began photographing for the student newspaper Ka Leo O Hawaii. Although I was majoring in Japanese Language at the time, I found that my true passion was in photography.
I later interned for The Honolulu Advertiser newspaper, and later got my first staff job at The Idaho State Journal. I moved to Tokyo, Japan, where I did editing and design, but later ended up at the Honolulu Star-Bulletin as a staff photographer. An epiphany and desire to delve into the unknown brought me to Seattle.
I shoot everything from corporate and editorial work to wedding photography. And I’m having the time of my life doing it.
You can see my portfolio at walkerphoto.net. I have a photo archive on Photoshelter.
